The College library has a valuable collection of books, periodicals, CDs and other audio visual aids. Access to e-resources has been provided by the Information and Library Network (INFLIBNET). The library at present has a collection of more than 3000 volumes including textbooks and reference books.

The library subscribes to 15 journals and periodicals in various subjects. Books are arranged on the shelves according to Dewey Decimal Classification (DDC), a scientific scheme of classification. This type of arrangement will help to keep the books on the same subject together with those on related subjects coming next to them. Open access facility is provided in the library to help the reader browsing the stack and selecting the books of his choice.

The Library is fully automated in its working with the integrated library software KOHA. Most of the books in the library are bar coded. This helps the circulation counter in issue and return of books efficient. Members are given bar – coded ID cards and books are issued on producing the ID cards.

Membership

All members of the staff, students, and non – teaching staff of the college are members of the library.

Digital library

Supplementing large stock of books and periodicals. Access to National Library and Information Services Infrastructure for Scholarly Content (NLIST) resources are available using the user name and password allotted from the library. More than one lakh e-resources are available through this programme.

Issue & Return

Books shall be issued from / returned to the library at the time and in the manner notified by the library from time to time.
