The college NSS unit (Unit no. 256) has an excellent set of volunteers who show exemplary social commitment and are ready for service any time. The NSS unit had organized and volunteered during the 2018 and 2019 floods, by providing relief material to the needy and remote areas. They volunteers have contributed their service to physically and mentally challenged individuals.

The annual seven day NSS camp facilitates camaraderie and leadership qualities among the volunteers. The unit organizes various student development activities in addition to social service activities.
